About Jamie Koala Art & Design

 "Through my life I have always been creative and explored many different mediums and ventures. My current outlet is my apparel and art company KoalaArtAndDesign.com. I formed my company as a teenager after attending local concerts and finding a new creative avenue - band merch and art design. However, back then my company only offered services such as graphic design, art and even animation to brands, companies and bands. As I grew older, I began exploring different mediums in art, apparel design, and jewelry making which ultimately lead to the expansion of Koala into an apparel brand. 

My path shifted significantly when I developed a chronic illness that forced major changes to my daily life and how I work. Learning to navigate an invisible illness has been challenging, but art and my business became an anchor through difficult treatments, limitations, and the loss of what once felt like a “normal life.” I believe art truly is therapy and I am thankful for every day I am able to work and create and even more excited to be able to share my work with the outside world!

Although now the brand Koala is my main focus, I have had my work with bands internationally and had my work featured in stores such as FYE, Hot Topic, Walmart and Best Buy. Some clients include Motörhead, Lamb Of God, Whitechapel, A Perfect Circle, Storenvy and many more."
